The first few minutes of Episode 2 are the real milestone \u2014 the first time Superman actually <strong>speaks<\/strong> on the air.<\/p>\n<p>Episode 1 was all setup: his trip from Krypton, his arrival on Earth, and young Clark Kent with no speaking part yet. But Episode 2? That\u2019s where the voice of Superman finally shows up\u2026 and at about <strong>2:33<\/strong>, you get a surprise that longtime TV fans might not expect.<\/p>\n<p>Most of us know <strong>Bud Collyer<\/strong> as the genial game\u2011show host from <em>Beat the Clock<\/em> and <em>To Tell the Truth<\/em>.
