The machine came from Television City and was the first one used in the west coast. It&#8217;s first task was to record and playback on delay the <em>Evening News with Douglas Edwards<\/em>. The machine stayed in service till it was retired in 1980. I think Dolby is in the red jacket, but I&#8217;m not sure.
