Just the peacock, or will Comcast replace one beheamoth’s logo with another (their own)?
It’s really the RCA building, but I suppose that ship sailed a long time ago. Was there ever an RCA sign atop 30 Rock?
Although I work for another network, that peacock is a nice logo, and I enjoy looking at it on Chicago’s NBC Tower, which was built in 1989 and inspired by 30 Rock. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4051/4492750221_7bf93c4567_z.jpg
Now it could be worse…..they could have left the RCA logo up there 😀 Either way, it’s fitting to replace that GE logo with the peacock.
Can I trade in my copy of “Cooking With Light Bulbs” now?
One question though…what about the sides of the building at street level? Are they going change it, or leave as it is as saying “GE Building”? Just asking…

Now they’ll have to fix the new SNL intro……I *was* surprised to see a shot of 30 Rock, still with the GE signage! Thought to myself, “didn’t they change that out yet?”

Considering the fact that Comcast is going to great lengths to restore the building to its former grandeur, it would be nice to see the RCA back on top of 30 Rock.

I never liked the GE sign. They basically corporate-raided RCA, broke it up into pieces and then sold it. This is long overdue.
