I think this lady’s name is Christina but I don’t know her last name…anyone know? Also, is that Hector Rameriz behind them? Hector has been nominated for more Emmy Awards than anyone. I loved the Match Game behind the scenes stuff when I was a kid. (Still do!) “Slide it, Earl!”
The cameras are Norelco PC 70s. The camerawoman is Christina Essmana, and that is not Hector Ramirez in the background. It is a cameraman named Jose who worked for years on Match Game and Price is Right.
The director was Marc Breslow and the control room was an “out of control room.” Lots of yelling, very loud, especially when Gene “wandered.”

That is not Hector behind me – his name was Joe Alverez I believe. I worked my very first show in Hollywood with Hector on the AM America show at ABC. A whole slew of great guys that were all Hector’s pals and went on to do all the biggest shows, maybe still do..Dave Levinson, Lew Shore..my old pals.
Hi Christina! Hi Nancy! The cameraman behind Christina is Jose Arvizu…..not sure of the spelling though. The first show I worked at CBS was Price Is Right and I was Jose’s cable utility. He always dressed well and playfully told me “Just don’t get my shoes dirty!”. Haha! I worked Match Game as the sweetener. They liked a LOT of sweetening so that when they went to post, they could make smoother edits during the process. You still look gorgeous Christina!
