This past Friday, Alex Trebek set the record for hosting the most game show episodes. Until then, that distinction had been Bob Barker’s. At the embedded clip is ABC’s story on the event and at the clip link below, Trebek talks about breaking the record as he enters the Guinness Book Of Records.

    The show returned in 1984, not 1986.

    Someone is going to add up all the hours that Barker did BEFORE TPIR and Pat Sajak’s WoF day show. Either one still logged more hours than Trbeck in my opine.

    Of course, Barker’s TPIR was a full hour show for most of its run, so Barker has still logged more hours, right?
