I live 3 miles from where their studios were. There still is an abandoned high rise that’s been mostly empty since 1989
The 47’s were SO touchy! They had to be adjusted almost daily, and they weighed a ton!
…neat to watch the operators truck and boom up and down the 47’s ..never got to operate one, but I do believe that they were a bit touchy !
This is soon after Jim and Tammy were out. Too bad it was after the Chapman Crane was out of the studio. I was video Tape Engineer from 1981 – Bitter End.
