Note how expensive Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers In the 21st Century were compared to the other shows.
Some Television Programs of my youth !
Both Battlestar Galactica & Buck Rogers had CGI in ’em (I’d attribute a large cost to that!) .. and possibly more odd/unusual set designs than other shows.
It DOESN’T reflect the costs (as it was made in the UK) but I’d like to see how the costs of SPACE 1999 stacked up to those two shows in cost.
‘thought 6 million dollar man and Hulk cost more
Second series of 1999 was USA, should have appeared
Wow. For it’s day, the Dean Martin Show was expensive.
Wrong about BSG and BR. The original series was done with models. CGI was at least 15 to 20 yrs away.
And it was all deficit financing!
Looks about like a KPBS cost sheet.
Ah the days when TV stars made less than $2,000 a week.
I bet most of step increase was talent and little changed in technical cost outside of inflation .
I think that number on the Sonny & Cher was my salary they were referring to !! Lol !
