I have the pleasure of going on the VIP tour at Universal later this week. I’ll have to see if they put on an addition.
I don’t know when this was shot, but it’s quite different now. And not just because of the fire a few years ago. The courthouse was red brick in ‘Back To the Future’ and had sides, well at least one side). Here, it’s just a front wall. Also, the building facade is modular; they can change it as needed. For example, the front columns are removable.
This is why there are always so many carpenters and painters involved in movie production. Every time these things go up, they need to be repaired and/or repainted.

I believe it was also used for “To Kill A Mockingbird”
