Clayton Moore acted, sans mask, in many 40’s era Republic serials. Handsome guy w/a great voice.
As soon as you heard that unmistakable voice you knew who this was.

I also remember him a Gene Autry movie, playing a heavy, called Riders of the Whistling Pines. HEard THAT voice and knew immediately!
