Now this is interesting…we have Noreclo PC70s at Television City in 1982. I think the next cameras there were Ikegami HK312s. This piece is from a local morning show somewhere called ‘2 On The Town’. Enjoy.

If I have it right, the Norelco-to-Hitachi switch happened some time in early 1984…which means the Norelcos’ reign lasted just about 20 years! Incredible.

That is correct Martin. TV City never had Ike studio cams as far as I can recollect. “Two on the Town” was produced at KNXT on Sunset. Their studio cams were Thomson TTV 1515’s (not shown on this clip).

I think CBS used the PC-70’s at TV City into the early 80’s and replaced them with Hitachi SK-110’s.
